    Director's Notes:

"Gypsy", which opened on April 12, 1984, had its share of stressful moments for director Larry Williams, choreographers Cheryl Burke & Susan Queen, and accompanist Dot Hemerly. Switching leads two weeks prior to any show is crazy. But, it was done, and successfully done at that. LeAnn Blose as Rose and the rest of the cast saved the show and did a remarkable job. Kerri Messinger, Nicole Gilbert, and Anne Kisthardt were our strippers who added spark to our show along with the runway of lights, and don't forget, Imogene the cow!
