    Director's Notes:

"Carnival" opened in the Northern Lehigh Little Theatre on May 4, 1983 and ran for four performances. Directed by Larry Williams, set design by Rick Eckhart, and costumes by Marie Roth, the cast of 90 students spread their theme of love to the audience very successfully. Professional Magic & Illusions and original choreography by Magician Kenny Evans added to the show's success. Leads Landis green and Kim Stubits were true stars. A highlight of the show were the 4 puppets, used to tell the story, which were designed and constructed by Mrs. June Eckhart and Ms. Shelby Hoyle. The beautiful and professional quality of these puppets were better than perfect. So perfect in fact, that they received an award at the Penna. State Theatre in Bucks County. Even though our show closed on May 7, 1983, the puppets went on to play the show at Central Catholic High School and Emmaus High School.
