Production Notes:

"Fiddler on the Roof," directed by George Fennell was and remains a very memorable show at Slatington High School, by the cast and the community. For years, the music was provided by one or two accompanists who served the musicals well. Due to the continued success and reputation of SHS's musicals, Mr. Fennell felt a need to compliment the piano with a first-time full orchestra. What a professional feeling the cast felt. The cast, led by Cheryl Roth and Larry Williams, the original choreography by Robert Grosch, and the hard-working director George Fennell gave us our lasting memories of Fiddler. Hours of practice, sore throats and wheelchairs, the Rabbi's loose moustache, standing room only, panic stricken faces, Tradition, the orchestra, trips to Temple Bethel, are just a few that come to mind.
