Coffee & Conversation Meetings

Join the conversation! NL Middle School hosts Coffee and Conversation each month. Any and all NLSD families and stakeholders are invited to attend. You can join the middle and high school principals and help to make decisions about our educational programs. This is a way for you to share ideas and feedback in an informal and fun way. Absence Procedures

When your child is absent, a written excuse is required to be submitted within 3 days upon the student’s return to school. Even if you call the school to report the absence, a written excuse is required by law.

Excuses can be sent in with your child, or you can write an excuse, sign it, take a picture of it and email it to MSattendance@nlsd.org. Doctor’s excuses can be emailed the same way. Excuses can also be faxed to the middle school at 610-767-9850.

Please note that if excuses are not received within 3 days of a student’s return to school, they will be deemed unlawful absences.

About Northern Lehigh Middle School

Northern Lehigh Middle School is one of four buildings part of the Northern Lehigh School District. It is a middle school building housing grades 7 and 8. Regular building hours are 7:20 – 2:10.

In an effort to maintain the safety and welfare of our students and staff, all doors are locked. Visitors may only enter the middle school building through the main doors. Please have proper ID with you if you are picking up a child. Thank you so much for your cooperation and understanding.
