Dear Students, Parents and Guardians:

Welcome to a new school year! It is my pleasure to welcome both our returning families and those joining the Northern Lehigh Middle School community for the first time. The start of a new school year brings excitement, opportunity, and the promise of new experiences. We look forward to partnering with our students and families as we begin another year of learning, growth, and achievement.

At Northern Lehigh Middle School, our mission is to ensure that every student has the opportunity to thrive. We are committed to providing an educational experience where students achieve success academically, socially, and emotionally. We believe that student success is built upon strong relationships, high expectations, and a supportive school community that encourages every child to reach their full potential.

Creating a welcoming, inclusive, and safe learning environment remains one of our highest priorities. Every student deserves to feel valued, respected, and connected. When students feel safe and supported, they are empowered to take risks, embrace challenges, and pursue excellence in all of their endeavors both inside and outside the classroom.

An important part of the Northern Lehigh Middle School experience is our intentional focus on developing the essential skills that prepare students not only for academic success but also for future opportunities. These skills—Goal Setting, Networking, Teamwork, Agility, Perseverance, and Leadership—are embedded throughout our school culture and have become part of the language we use every day. We encourage our students to set meaningful goals, collaborate effectively with others, adapt to new challenges, persevere through obstacles, build positive relationships, and lead with integrity and confidence. These competencies help our students become lifelong learners and responsible members of our community.

As we begin this school year together, I encourage every student to become actively involved in our school community, challenge themselves to grow, and take advantage of the many opportunities available at Northern Lehigh Middle School. Success is a shared responsibility, and we greatly value the partnership between our school, our families, and our community. Together, we can create an environment where every student is inspired to learn, supported to succeed, and empowered to achieve their goals.
