This is a reminder to parents with a child or children attending school in our School District that we do not carry medical insurance on students, but do provide parents with the opportunity to select a primary group insurance plan for students. Student accident insurance can help you eliminate the possibility of out-of-pocket expenses, since many group insurance policies no longer pay full hospital and medical expenses and may require a deductible or co- insurance.
CHIP, short for the Children’s Health Insurance Program, covers uninsured kids and teens up to age 19 who are not eligible for Medical Assistance in Pennsylvania. It’s easy to sign up, and even easier to qualify. Maybe you lost your job or health care has gotten too expensive. No matter why your kids don’t have coverage right now, CHIP may be able to help.
