The School-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) is a universal, school-wide prevention program that aims to establish a social culture within schools in which students expect and support appropriate behavior from one another— and thereby create school environments that are socially predictable.

Slatington Elementary places a strong focus on four main themes: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe and Be Proud. During our 6-day cycle, students participate in a D.I.S.H. (Developing Individual Social Habits) Day activity. These activities are designed to include character education, Second Step (character building and anti-bullying programs), growth mindset and mindfulness.
