When your child is absent, a written excuse is required to be submitted within 3 days upon the student’s return to school. Even if you call the school to report the absence, a written excuse is required by law.
Excuses can be sent in with your child, or you can write an excuse, sign it, take a picture of it and email it to MSattendance@nlsd.org. Doctor’s excuses can be emailed the same way. Excuses can also be faxed to the middle school at 610-767-9850.
Please note that if excuses are not received within 3 days of a student’s return to school, they will be deemed unlawful absences.
