Principal of Slatington Elementary
Mr. Scott Pyne
Here, at Slatington Elementary School, we strive to provide every student with an education that includes core academics, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Our teachers work to create learning experiences and lessons that help prepare students to be lifelong learners and responsible and successful members of society.
We believe that these lessons must extend beyond the classroom, which is why our curriculum extends beyond academics with the School wide Positive Behavior Support system. Through this system, students receive an explicit and ongoing curriculum in positive behavior and learn a variety of important social skills. They look forward to being rewarded through our “Bulldog Bucks” program, and we look forward to seeing them grow as independent and respectful member of our little society.
We know that our links and connections with the families and communities of our students is important, which is why we pledge to always work together in your child’s interest. Please help us continue that mission by maintaining contact with us whenever questions or concerns come up, checking in on the school website, connecting to Class Dojo, following us on Twitter (@Slatington_Elem) and, of course, talking to your kids about their day every day you can.
It's going to be a great year at Slatington Elementary.
