The School-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (SWPBIS) is a universal, school-wide prevention program that aims to establish a social culture within schools in which students expect and support appropriate behavior from one another— and thereby create school environments that are socially predictable.
Slatington Elementary places a strong focus on four main themes: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe and Be Proud. During our 6-day cycle, students participate in a D.I.S.H. Day activity. These activities are designed to include character education, growth mindset and mindfulness.
Class Dojo is used to communicate more frequently with families. Using Class Dojo, you will be able to receive important classroom and school wide information, view your child's behavior records, and communicate directly with their teacher. You will receive an invitation to connect to your child's account at the start of the school year.
