Kindergarten Registration

  • Northern Lehigh School District will hold Kindergarten registration by appointment only in the spring of 2024.

    Registration of children must be made by parents/and or legal guardians and will be held at Peters Elementary School on Tuesday, March 19, Wednesday, March 20, or Thursday, March 21.

    In order to enter Kindergarten in August, a child must be five years old as of September 1, 2024.

    At the time of registration, parents must provide the child’s originally issued birth certificate, a record of the child’s immunizations, and parent photo identification. Two different proofs of residency are also required. Acceptable proofs are the following: driver’s license (updated or with a change of address card), moving permit, deed, current tax bill/receipt, mortgage document/bill, vehicle registration card, or multiple occupancy permit. Children entering kindergarten should be brought along for a brief academic assessment.

    Please call Peters Elementary School after January 8, 2024 at 610-767-9827 between 10:00 AM and 2:30 PM to schedule an appointment for kindergarten registration.

Registration Items

  • The following items MUST be presented at the time of registration:

    • Parent's photo identification

    • Child's original Birth Certificate

    • Child's Immunization (Shots) Records

    • Two (different types of) proofs of residency required:

      • Drivers License (updated or with change of address card)
      • Moving Permit
      • Deed
      • Current Tax Bill/Receipt
      • Mortgage Document/Bill
      • Rental Lease Agreement
      • Current Utility Bill
      • Vehicle Registration Card
      • Multiple Occupancy Permit

    • Children entering kindergarten should be brought along for a brief academic assessment.
